MISSGUIDED BEACH OUTFIT

OUTFIT FROM MISSGUIDED
BLUE BANANA PRINT BIKINI - KIMONO - SILVER SANDALS - SUNGLASSES

On Sunday we went on a lovely beach adventure in the tropical land of Wales. Being wales, you would think that I would be freezing cold in this beach outfit but to everyones shock it was so nice and warm, I felt like I was in a super hot far away country! Everyone left the beach at 3pm for some reason, I'm not entirely sure why, maybe thats when the tide comes in? But we stayed for a few more hours and the tide stayed where it was which meant we we had the entire beach to ourselves!

I love all the crazy bright colours going on in this outfit, the kimono is most definitely my favourite piece as its such a beautiful shade of pink, its not like super in your face but its not a dark pink either its kind of like someone has made pink custard and made it into a kimono, and the pattern is really pretty. I feel like my life is one big kimono I have so many, a lot of them will be going into my permanent wardrobe including this one eek! I also love the banana bikini because... its a bikini with bananas on it! As for the sandals, I've been looking at these pool-slider type shoes recently and thinking ew they are so awful why would anyone ever wear those, but I saw these and I'm not sure why but I think they've converted me? They're super comfy because the sole is all padded and soft so maybe thats what it is, also these ones have ankle straps so they actually stay on my feet! I wouldn't be able to wear normal pool sliders because flip flops just fly off my feet as I'm walking along haha!

I'm a bit nervous about posting bikini photos because its not something I've ever felt comfortable in doing before and right now as I write this I'm in fact feeling most uncomfortable! But I figured hey ho, I'm on holiday, this is what I wear on holiday, I'm pretty sure when other people go on holiday they also wear bikinis and so I should feel no shame in posting my holiday outfits. Its not like I'm taking bikini mirror selfies. And on that note I shall head to the welsh charity shops! Have a fabulous day everyone!

CONDESCENDING SMILE TRYING TO FORGET WE'RE FALLING BACK THROUGH

BLUE LACE EDGE PLAYSUIT: ILWF - TAPESTRY PRINT KIMONO: ILWF - LACE BEADED SHAWL: CHARITY SHOP - SANDALS: AX PARIS

The other day we all went for a walk along the canal and I thought it would be the perfect place to photograph this outfit! Purple is one of my favourite colours, well at least its one of my favourite colours to wear and so I had to have this playsuit-kimono combination from ILWF . I've been wearing so much from them recently as I'm really enjoying the patterns they've got going on in a lot of their items. Especially this tapestry print kimono *tapestry obsession kicks in* tapestry is probably one of my favourite things I have three tapestry bags, a tapestry trolley, tapestry brogues and a tapestry purse, and probably a lot of other tapestry things which I've completely forgot about. To sum up- I enjoy tapestry and so I had to have this tapestry print kimono!

LIBERATION, A MORAL CHARADE FOR THE CAUSE IS A PART OF YOUR SACRED LIE

KIMONO: HELLO MARGARET - CROP TOP: DESIRE CLOTHING - PINK ACID WASH SHORTS: AX PARIS - SANDALS: AX PARIS

The past few days I've been feeling very pink and girly, I'm not sure where this girlyness is coming from but I like being able to turn a otherwise bright and in your face colour into something that suits a more 'Woo I'm wearing a kimono, I'm such an earth child' look.

Literally every outfit that I've worn over the past few weeks has involved a kimono of some sorts, I think I'm obsessed. To begin with I wasn't too sold on them because I'm not a fan of slouchy clothes but it seems I'm over it because they're kind of perfect for this boiling hot weather! I really love long ones and when Hello Margaret released their newest collection I was like ahh I must have it!

Hello Margaret are one of my favourite online stores because they have amazing products and also the girls that work there (Cookie and Smitch) are super lovely! They design and make everything on the website themselves which I think is really cool (I wish I could still have the patience to sew) and they only make a small amount of each item so they're quite exclusive and ethical and all that fancy jazz! I've got another one of their newest items to post over the next few days which I'm very excited about because the print is super amazing, but you shall all have to wait and see!
